What signs and symptoms indicate stroke?

  • Weakness or Numbness of the face, arm, or leg
  • Confusion or trouble speaking or understanding others
  • Difficulty in vision
  • Difficulty in walking or loss of balance or coordination
  • Severe headache with unknown cause
Transient ischemic attack (TIA)
TIA is a short term obstruction or interruption in the blood flow to the brain. Signs and symptoms may resemble like a stroke but the patient recovers within 24 hours and has no deficit. TIA is a warning sign that the patient may be affected by stroke in future. So it is necessary to consult a physician.
